Nikkah Services at Hethersett Masjid

Marriage is a sacred bond in Islam, built on faith, love, and mutual respect. At Hethersett Masjid, we offer Nikkah (Islamic Marriage) Services to help couples begin their journey together in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Our Nikkah Services Include:

Islamic Marriage Ceremony – Conducted by a qualified Imam, following the Sunnah.
Marriage Counselling & Guidance – Preparing couples for a harmonious and blessed union.
Official Nikkah Certificate – Providing a formal record of the marriage.
Venue & Arrangements – A simple, serene setting for the ceremony (optional).

Requirements for Nikkah

To perform the Nikkah at Hethersett Masjid, the following must be arranged:
Consent of Both Bride & Groom – Both parties must willingly accept the marriage.
Wali (Guardian) for the Bride – As per Islamic requirements.
Two Muslim Witnesses – Present during the Nikkah ceremony.
Mahr (Dowry) – A gift from the groom to the bride as part of the marriage contract.
Legal Marriage Registration – We advise registering your marriage under UK law separately.
